Victoria Turner currently serves as the External Relations & Conference Manager at the IOPC Funds, a role she has held since 2023. Mrs Turner initially joined the organisation in 2002, where she coordinated its bi-annual conferences. In 2010, Mrs Turner transitioned to the role of Information Officer, handling the Funds’ media relations, websites, and all publications and outreach materials.
In her current role, she oversees the meetings of the IOPC Funds’ governing bodies and all areas of the Funds’ public relations, ensuring the Secretariat continues to develop and deliver services and materials to key stakeholders, including Member States, claimants, contributors and partners in the oil spill community, in the three official languages of the organisation.
Mrs Turner holds a degree in French and Spanish and has previously worked at the Ministry of Justice of the UK Government.
