Tucker, Andrew

Andrew Tucker has over 25 years of experience in the industry. Currently, he is the bp global Oil Spill Manager working across all bp businesses, having been with bp since 2012.

Previously, Andrew worked at ITOPF as a Senior Marine Pollution Technical Adviser for 8 years, responding to oil and chemical spills globally, including the ATHOS (USA, 2004) HEBEI SPIRT (South Korea, 2007), MSC CHITRA (India, 2010) and RENA (New Zealand, 2011).
Prior to this, he also held various positions at the UK Environment Agency, including Technical Team Leader, Hazardous Waste Team Leader, and Contaminated Land Officer. His work involved environmental pollution control and enforcement, regulation of hazardous waste facilities, and remediation of contaminated land.

Andrew holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Science from the University of Aberdeen and a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from the University of Birmingham.
