Navy officer since 1996 and ship’s captain since 2004 and worked as hydrographic surveyor for 18 years with a master in marine science as CAT A surveyor in 2014 from University of Southern Mississippi. Started working with Regional Organization for the Conservation of the Environment in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden (PERSGA) as the director of Emergency Mutual Aid Center Red Sea & Gulf of Aden (EMARSGA) in March 2023.

EMARSGA center is the regional coordination center to support member states in their responding to maritime emergencies of oil spills &HNS by coordinating rapid response through organized guidelines and procedures to pollution incidents by incident analysis and trajectory modelling using Oilmap & Chemmap to support decision making. We Provides expertise, technical guidance, and logistical support to member states for emergency response upon request. Acts as a hub for sharing information, emergency response procedures. Organizing training programs and workshops for member states, enhancing national capabilities in pollution control and emergency management.
