Driellie Melo is a Marine Biologist with a Master’s degree in Biodiversity and Marine and Coastal Ecology from the Universidade Federal de São Paulo. With over six years of professional experience, she specializes in wildlife response during environmental emergencies and environmental licensing.
As a Project Coordinator at Aiuká, she leads the development of wildlife contingency plans, ensuring contractual and legal compliance for oil and gas companies while aligning with the environmental agency requirements. She also oversees the implementation of the Incident Command System (ICS) specifically for the wildlife response, organizes and participates in drills and exercises—taking on roles in the Operations, Planning, and SimCell sections—and also coordinates wildlife response efforts during environmental emergencies
