Natálie is a Technical Adviser at ITOPF. Her primary role is to deploy to spills worldwide to advise on effective spill response. In this capacity, Natálie attended spills in Peru, Sri Lanka, the Philippines and in Singapore. Beyond spill response, she is involved in preparedness initiatives, working closely with representatives from the shipping industry and governments globally. She also co-leads ITOPF’s internal working group on nuclear in shipping and, in 2023/2024, spent nine months on secondment at the IMO’s Marine Environment Division, supporting the implementation of OPRC technical cooperation activities.
Prior to joining ITOPF, Natálie worked as an oil spill responder, a financial analyst at an oil major and as natural resource governance analyst at Myanmar-based NGO.
Natálie has a background in Earth Sciences and Economics. She is fluent in English, French, and Czech, and has intermediate proficiency in Russian.
