Mr. Ståle Jensen is a marine biologist by training, employed at NOFO (Norwegian Clean Seas Association for Operating Companies) since 2004.
As the Sr. Environmental Adviser at NOFO, he uses his expertise in oil spill response methods and competence on their environmental impact to advise and train oil companies on development of Emergency preparedness plans. He guides strategic decisions during critical incidents, with focus on oil drift modelling and environmental conditions in the field.
With few operational spills from the oil industry, he also draws on his experience coworking with the Norwegian Coastal Administration during their incidents with oil spills along the Norwegian coastline.
