Stéphane Grenon has close to 30 years of experience in the field of environmental emergencies from contingency planning and training to response. He is currently the Managing Director at TRIOX Environmental Emergencies, a company he co-founded in 2011. Previously, he worked as a Technical Advisor for ITOPF and as an Environmental Emergencies Manager for Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Stéphane has been involved in various incidents from ships, trains, and industrial facilities in 25 countries, where he developed an extensive expertise in land and marine oil and hazardous chemical spill response. Stéphane is also a recognized trainer by IPIECA and IMO and as such has delivered oil spill response training, including sensitivity mapping, in over 40 countries including several countries from the WACAF region.
