Paula is a Senior Adviser in the Offshore Industry Advice team at JNCC. She is experienced in the providision of nature conservation advice to a variety of stakeholders, regulators, and other agencies with marine pollution being a key work area. She leads a Duty Officer team, which provide 24 hour response to offshore marine pollution incidents. The duty officers are available to support with scientific advice, policy guidance, and environmental monitoring support to mitigate the impacts of pollution incidents in the offshore marine environment. Paula’s other work areas include advice for strategic cable development, interconnectors, telecommunication cables, oil and gas and decommissioning of man-made structures.
