Andrew Coueslant (MPA) is an Emergency Response and Business Resilience Specialist with CNOOC International which owns and operates three oil and gas platforms in the UK North Sea. Andrew has been working in the energy sector for 8 years with a focus on emergency response and crisis management.
He is an on call Incident Commander leading the onshore teams to support emergencies impacting on both the on and offshore areas of the business.
Prior to joining the energy sector, Andrew was a Gold Commander and Senior Manager in the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. Based in Aberdeen, Scotland he was responsible for operations the North of Scotland including 176 fire stations and associate personnel. He has led numerous responses over three decades including the 10 day response to Storm Frank in 2016.
